William Froug is anEmmy-winning
writer-producer whose television credits include Playhouse
90 and TheTwilight Zone. The Producers Guild
named him Producer of the Year in 1956,and the Writers
Guild of America awarded him their Valentine Davies
Award in1987. He
is professor emeritus atUCLA, where he founded its
present film and television writing program, and theauthor
